Lecturer profile:

Hong Liao, Dean of the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Nanjing University of Information Engineering. Ph.D., California Institute of Technology (2001). Chief Scientist of Project 973. She was selected by the "Hundred Talents Program" for the introduction of outstanding foreign talents (2007), the National Outstanding Youth Fund (2008), the national candidate of the New Century Hundred Million Talents Project (2009), and the National Outstanding Scientific and Technological Talent (2016). She is currently a member of the Joint Scientific Committee of the World Climate Research Program (WCRP) and Vice-Chairman of the China Committee of the International World Climate Research Program.
